Releases: stephensekula/Dedman-Thesis-Latex-Template
v0.1.2
Marks code ownership transition from @matthewfeickert to @stephensekula.
Image file directory is renamed "figures"
By changing the directory structure from images/figures
to figures
a breaking change is introduced that requires manual updating and intervention on the user:
git mv images/figures figures
and then editing of their Makefile
from
images/figures/
to figures/
and then any remaining images
to figures
.
User controlled metadata
This is the first release in which all (or almost all) of the personal user metadata and goes into the template is controlled through a single configuration file, src/user_config.tex
.
This allows for everything else that has to deal with the layout and style of the template to be centrally controlled and therefore deployed to all users, while the individual user only needs to control their own config file.
Old Template
There are large parts of the old template that are either unnecessary, obsolete, or totally unmaintained. The template will be cleaned in later releases to provide for faster compile times and a decreased potential for conflicts. This release is a base marker for the old template, specifically for the files
