Addition to PR #7618: "Add more high starred Open Source Projects using Material for MkDocs"
Hi @squidfunk,
During my research, I found more high star OSS projects and companies using MkDocs-Material for documentation and websites.
Companies/University:
Open Source Projects:
Note: Currently due to the limitations of GitHub search (see here) there may be more high starred repos that use MkDocs-Material. But finding them is not so easy.
Sphinx for example has a huge list: Projects using Sphinx. Hope my PR helps a bit out.
My Insights (maybe also interesting for your stats and advertisement)
Also did some data analytics here: I summed the GitHub stars of all projects (repos only added when they had more than 300 stars, doesn't matter that much). Result: Projects with more than 1,640,000 stars (more than 1.6 million stars) rely for documentation and websites on MkDocs-Material. This number is likely even higher, as it doesn't include smaller projects or those not on the list. I think that's a huge number. Awesome work!
The Top 3 Projects (ranked after most GitHub stars) using MkDocs-Material:
It is also worth noting that projects such as Ultralytics YOLO, Supervision and AutoGPT, all in the AI space and all fast growing and trending on GitHub, use MkDocs-Material.
Thank you, and I hope this helps! 🚀
