Section Indexe Pages: Good ideas to indicate an index.md?

I am currently building a larger documentation using MKDocs Material. Sometimes I am using section index pages as they can be quite useful.

There is just one issue for me: You simply cannot visually tell if a collapsible nav item is an index page or not.

Example

This section called "3D Modeling" has no index page. When you click on the section name in the nav or the dropdown icon next to it the content is the same:

But in this situation the section "Assemblies" has an index.md which will result that the content differs when you click on the section name or the dropdown icon:

Problem

Both sections 3D Modeling and Assemblies look basically the same. They have a name in the nav and a dropdown icon to the right but both behave differently.

Has anyone a good idea to visually indicate that a section index page is available?

Thank you for your quick response. Additional CSS looks like a solution. I'll mark this one as a possible answer but am still curious if others have found another way to indicate index pages.
