I am a husband, father, data analyst, coder, and excessive drinker of coffee. I live in Raleigh, NC.

Most of my open source work involves toolmaking in Python and Go for the Alteryx analytics platform. I would like to see a vibrant community of coders pushing the boundaries of what Alteryx can accomplish. Alteryx provides a C API and plugin SDKs for C++ and Python. I have added to this ecosystem by building an unofficial Go SDK, with the intention of building custom Alteryx tools in Go. The first round of tools will enhance Alteryx to access and manipulate streaming data sources. As I build these, and other, custom tools there will be other requirements I will run across (such as importing/exporting YXDBs). My intention is to continue adding to the developer ecosystem by formalizing my solutions into Go packages and making them available to the community.

Sponsorships would allow me to dedicate time toward these activities. I currently dedicate 1-2 hours per day in the early morning, but I want to do more. If sponsorships were to reach a sufficient level, I could focus on these development efforts full-time.

My plan is to give higher priority to issues that are created or upvoted by sponsors. Higher tiers get a higher priority.
