Kyle is a prolific open source developer. He contributes to various projects such as snapcraft and snapd, two key pieces of technology behind snaps and Ubuntu Core. He also contributes to Nextcloud and maintains a snap for it, as well as a snap for Darktable. Finally, he writes blog/video series about robotics and has contributed to (and in fact led the development of) the security features in the second version of the Robot Operating System (ROS 2).
