Document at some level the key data files:

  • agasc_supplement.h5 with three data groups bad, mags and obs_status
  • mag_stats_agasc.fits
  • mag_stats_obsid.fits

For the FITS files you can set the description of each column you can use tbl.info to print a formatted table description. Those description fields get put into the FITS file as well so every time you read the data file the documentation of fields is included.
