MariaDb:

• sudo systemctl stop mysqld

• sudo pacman -S mariadb libmariadbclient mariadb-clients

• sudo mysql_install_db --user=mysql --basedir=/usr --datadir=/var/lib/mysql

• sudo systemctl start mariadb

• sudo mysql_secure_installation

• sudo systemctl restart mariadb

• sudo mysql -u root -p

• CREATE USER 'USER_NAME'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'PASSWORD';

• CREATE DATABASE database_name CHARACTER SET utf8 COLLATE utf8_general_ci; or CREATE DATABASE database_name CHARACTER SET utf8mb4 COLLATE utf8mb4_general_ci;

• GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON database_name.* TO 'USER_NAME'@'localhost';

• FLUSH PRIVILEGES;

• exit

• Clone project

• Go to the project folder

Requirements:

• python -m venv venv
• source venv/bin/activate
• pip install --upgrade pip
• pip install -r requirements.txt

Create file in project folder: .env:

TODO_APP_WEB_SECRET_KEY="<your django secret key>"
TODO_APP_WEB_DB_NAME="todo_app_web_db"
TODO_APP_WEB_DB_USER="todo_app_web_user"
TODO_APP_WEB_DB_PASSWORD="<password>"
TODO_APP_WEB_DB_HOST="localhost"

Run:

• python manage.py migrate
• python manage.py createsuperuser
• python manage.py runserver
• Open in browser link
