Led the design and implementation of a centralized website-based information system for IT Del Vocational Faculty. Developed and optimized a user-friendly interface using Laravel, Node.js (with NPM build), and Bootstrap frameworks, resulting in a 40% improvement in navigation efficiency. Integrated dynamic dashboards for administrative management, streamlining content updates by 50%. Conducted iterative development cycles, leveraging Agile methodologies and collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with institutional goals. Incorporated database optimization using MySQL. Deployed the system on Apache servers, enhancing accessibility and scalability for over 2,000 users, including faculty, students, and alumni.
The IT Del Vocational Information System! This project aims to provide a comprehensive platform for the Vocational Faculty of IT Del, covering the D4 Software Engineering and D3 Information Technology and Computer Technology study programs.
This project aims to:
- Provide an integrated platform for accessing all information related to the Vocational Faculty of IT Del.
- Improve efficiency in managing information related to study programs, news, achievements, vision and mission, and faculty portfolios.
- Enhance the branding of IT Del's Vocational Faculty through improved accessibility and quality of information.
-
Homepage: The main page featuring images, logos, profile videos, and other elements that provide an overview and intuitive navigation to other sections of the site.
-
Profile: Displays the history, vision, mission, and goals of the Vocational Faculty of IT Del, including information on organizational structure and achievements.
-
Civitas: Presents detailed profiles of faculty members, students, and alumni. This information includes educational background, achievements, publications, and work experience.
-

- Authentication: Login system for admins to securely manage site content.
- CRUD Operations: Enables admins to create, read, update, and delete information across various sections of the site.
Our approach followed an iterative design methodology, where the system evolved through continuous cycles of prototyping, testing, analysis, and refinement. This allowed us to incorporate user feedback and adapt to changing requirements.
Development Stages Included:
- Requirements Exploration: Utilizing elicitation techniques like interviews and observations to identify user needs.
- Prototyping: Developing and refining prototypes based on initial findings.
- Testing and Feedback: Iteratively improving the system through user evaluations.
This project is developed using the following technologies:
- Backend Framework: Laravel is used for the backend, providing a robust and scalable foundation for handling server-side logic and database management.
- Frontend: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with Bootstrap for responsive design and modern aesthetics.
- Code Optimization: TypeScript is used for better code management and faster performance.
- JavaScript and Node.js: JavaScript is utilized for dynamic client-side functionality, while Node.js and npm are used to manage dependencies, streamline the development workflow, and optimize server-side scripting.
This project follows an iterative approach with stages that include:
- Requirement exploration using elicitation techniques such as interviews and observations.
- Iterative design and development using Agile methodology.
- Thorough testing to ensure implementation quality.
- Preparation of reports and presentations for the final submission to the client.
The development of this centralized web platform has successfully addressed the critical need for an integrated solution within the IT Del Vocational Faculty. By improving the accessibility of information and streamlining operational workflows, the project delivers measurable value to students, faculty, alumni, and the wider community. This initiative represents a significant step towards modernizing the faculty's digital infrastructure, enabling better management of resources and fostering a more cohesive digital ecosystem.
