Getting Started

Installation

  1. Clone the repository:

    https://github.com/silent-cipher/stakeStream.git
    cd stakeStream
  2. Tnstruction to add chrome extension:

    • Open Chrome browser and navigate to chrome://extensions/
    • Enable Developer mode by toggling the switch in the top right corner.
    • Click on the Load unpacked button in the top left corner.
    • Navigate to the extension folder in the project directory and select it.
    • The extension should now be installed and visible in the extensions list.
  3. Install dependencies for the frontend (Next.js):

    cd frontend
    npm install
  4. Run the development servers:

    • For Next.js (frontend):
    npm run build
    npm start
    • (Backend) is for tweet extraction and tweet id extraction:
    cd backend
    virtualenv .venv
    source .venv/bin/activate
    pip install -r requirements.txt
    python manage.py runserver
  5. Open your browser and navigate to http://localhost:3000 for the frontend and http://localhost:8080 for the backend admin interface.
