TextExpander will not function if open concurrently with the latest build (5.2.0) of Signal.
Which is no good, since I run both all day, every day.
Restarting Signal, etc., does not fix the problem.

Same in 10.14.6.
Temporary workaround that sometimes helps is to click in Signal’s search field before switching to another app (thanks to TextExpander support for this hint!).
