Remove chats when un-linking a device. #1195
Comments
You're saying that actions on a linked phone should change the data saved in the extension? Today we think of them as separate entities, each with their own, independent backups. What do you expect to happen if the desktop app were unlinked accidentally (via reinstalling the app on the phone, getting a new phone)? |
I imagine you should need to re-pair for security reasons.

Sounds to me that a better solution to this specific problem would be to add passphrase protection to the Desktop app, just like there is for the Android app |
Bug description
When unlinking a computer, the chats remain there, it just breaks communication.
Example situation, when describing the faults of a corrupt company, if my workstation gets seized, I would like to be able to un-link the computer from the app, and the transcript be no longer accessible. Currently all history is still viewable.
