unable to add users/groups to function app managed identity

When I Deploy Acmebot using the ARM template from the project home page: https://portal.azure.com/#create/Microsoft.Template/uri/https%3A%2F%2Fraw.githubusercontent.com%2Fshibayan%2Fkeyvault-acmebot%2Fmaster%2Fazuredeploy.json

The managed identity appears in Entra ID, but I cannot add users/groups to it as the button is greyed out.

I redeployed the template and edited it so that the managed identity was off after the deployment, I then enabled the system managed identity in the portal, but I got the same result.

Have a missed a step somewhere?

Sorted it out, needed to set the Authentication on the function app using a name other than the function app name...
