  • Training Drill now has batteries and a ladder.
  • Fixed Engineer Boot Camp not completing.
  • Training Drill will now only despawn if Pilot or Scientist Boot Camp completed. Engineers will have to recover it themselves.

  • Fixed issue where Boot Camp would try to delete the engineer training drill while Kerbal was still in it, and implode the universe.
  • Boot Camp now has a 30 day cooldown, to stop endless loops of offering while Crew R&R is installed.
  • License updated to MIT.

This is the final release of Kerbal Academy (barring any hotfixes that arise from this release). Support will officially end on 14 May 2017.

Kerbal Academy 1.1.4 released!

  • Updated to make it compatible with the latest Contract Configurator.
  • Fixed issue where Scientist Boot Camp would not award experience.
  • Removed Mini AVC, because if you want that functionality, you are probably already running KSP-AVC.

  • Boot Camp: Implemented "fuzzy logic" when deciding which vehicle's crew is eligible for promotion. This should fix the issues people have been having with not getting experience/being able to complete the contract.
  • Fixed an issue where Level 2 Advanced Piloting parameters could be completed out of sequence.

  • Removed confusing text which asks for experiments to be transmitted, even though they need to be recovered.
  • Scientific Principles will now pick an experiment at random if all the valid science is exhausted.
  • Boot Camp will now fail if the kerbal who would get promoted is killed. (thanks Aelios)

  • Basic program costs more depending on level difference between mentor and trainee
  • Fixed a bug that would stop Level 3+ Advanced Piloting missions from completing.
