😄 Hello! I'm Sergio

I'm a student at Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, in my final year of Computer Science and Mathematics. I'm also working at Gradiant.

👨🏻‍💻 Experience

  • I'm currently working as a Researcher-Engineer at Gradiant.
  • From September to December 2023 I completed an intership at CITMAga helping in the development of reformulation techniques for complex optimization problems.
  • On Summer 2023 I completed an internship at Gradiant, developing an AI model for error detection in an industrial setting.

⚡ Some of my projects

  • I took part in HackUDC, on the 2023 and 2024 editions. Our team won prizes on both editions, you can check out the projects on Devpost (2024, 2023) and Github (2024, 2023).
  • I took part in AdaByron competitive programming contest (2024, 2023). Our team reached national finals in both editions. In 2024 finals we reached 11th place among +40 teams!
  • I enjoy competitive programming, I have a couple of repositories dedicated to solving problems from Acepta el Reto and Advent of Code.
  • I developed VacunacionGal, an automated Twitter account that showed information about COVID-19 vaccination rates in Galicia.
