Luciferin
supports various effects.
Bias light
capture the screen to read colors and change LED backlights accordingly.
Music mode
has two possible effect:
- VU Meter: A volume unit (VU) meter is a device displaying a representation of the signal level in audio equipment. Luciferin shows peaks and RMS information using green color for RMS and red and yellow for the peaks.
- Screen capture: This is a bias light mode with the addition of the music capture to regulate the LED brightness based on the music peaks.
- Rainbow music: Rainbow colors driven by the music
Other effects are just static ones and they don't need any screen or audio capture.
Luciferin
is made with simplicity in mind, less is more.
There is no configuration needed to activate the audio mode, select an audio mode to enjoy it.
If your operating system has a working audio loopback device, Luciferin
will use it as the default audio device for recording.
If no loopback device is found, Luciferin
will create a software audio loopback on the default audio output.
