Hotel Reservation Web Application

Hotel Reservation Web Application built for a University Project using Java, JSP and Servlets. This project can run with the GlassFish Server and a MySQL database is used as the database. This hotel reservation system follows the MVC architecture and Admins and Users can access seperate options based on their login. Twilio API and Gmail API access is used to implement automated emails and messages on actions including logging in, signing up, and making reservations.

Getting Started

To get a local copy up and running follow these simple example steps.

Prerequisites

This project is built using Netbeans IDE 8.2 and Glassfish Server. Thus, you might want to make changes if using any other programs.

Installation

1. Get Netbeans IDE (8.2)
2. Clone the repo and resolve dependencies, if any

   git clone https://github.com/sayuru-akash/hotel-reservation-system.git

3. Open and Clean Build the Project
4. Import the .sql file to your DB
5. Run the project
