ACM AMRITA, Amritapuri is maintaining this repo for the Hacktoberfest 2022.We are accepting programmes done in C,C++and Python.

🎃 What is Hacktoberfest? 🎃

A month-long celebration from October 1st - 31st sponsored by Digital Ocean and GitHub to get people involved in Open Source. Create your very first pull request to any public repository on GitHub and contribute to the open source developer community.

How to contribute to this project

Here are 3 quick and painless ways to contribute to this project:

  • Add your name to the CONTRIBUTORS.md file
  • Add a profile page to the profiles.md directory
  • Create a simple script in a language of your choice and put it into their respective folders

Choose from these tasks

1. Add your name

Add your name to the CONTRIBUTORS.md file using the below convention:

- Place: City, State, Country
- Bio: Who are you?

2. Add your socials

Add your socials to the PROFILES.md file using the below convention:

3. Upload your code files to the respective folders

You can upload any of your program files in the respective language folders (Python files in the folder 'Python Programs' etc).

Complete Hacktoberfest can elect to receive one of two prizes: a tree planted in their name, or the Hacktoberfest 2022 t-shirt.

Contribution rules

  • Do 🌟 the Project
  • Do NOT add any build steps e.g npm install (we want to keep this a simple static site)
  • Do NOT remove Videos, Rules, FAQs or any other helpful content.
  • Styling / code can be pretty, ugly or stupid, big or small as long as it works
