PathGenerator is a microgem that generates, depth-first, paths from a Hash or an Array. Future versions will be more complete, with support for any Ruby object.
It returns an Enumerator so you can call any method the Ruby Enumerator class supports.
Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
gem 'path_generator'
And then execute:
$ bundle
Or install it yourself as:
$ gem install path_generator
First create an instance of the generator by passing a Hash (or Array) object
generator = PathGenerator.new({a: {b: [:c, {d: ""}], f: []}})By calling paths you get back an Enumerator so you can work with:
generator.paths.each { |path| p path }
# => [:a, :b, :c]
# => [:a, :b, :d]
