We were asked by a potential customer about using our software with the new Cobots (CRB 15000 or CRB 1300). As I understand they use the new OmniCore C30 controller but I could not find information about the operating system and about compatibility with this driver. |

OmniCore runs RW7. It's still RAPID. I'd expect things to "just work", but haven't verified this personally. I seem to remember some users reporting success. However, |

Yes, that would require an EGM license.
IIRC, RobotStudio either doesn't require a license for this particular use, or the 30 days free trial works. |

OmniCore runs RW7. It's still RAPID.
I'd expect things to "just work", but haven't verified this personally.
I seem to remember some users reporting success.
However,
abb_robot_driverwould result in smoother and more performant motions -- once you get beyond the "OmniCore only supports RWS v2" hurdle (which some users have done).
