Example script:

  • Pulls from ServiceNow through API
  • Allows for specification of input inclusion/exclusion filters for configuration items to compare in YAML configuration files
  • Validates what is pulled from ServiceNow and reports any invalid data
  • Standardizes ServiceNow configuration items into NetIM device and group fields
  • Pulls existing configuration from NetIM
  • Compares and reports, with optional summarization
  • Optionally, adds new devices and groups to NetIM
