Option to allow keeping .md output of a vignette

Essentially, I like to have the .md version of my vignette on GitHub, so that readers can see the output of the calls. That has been a hassle to do using devtools.

Dirk's answer, and the function given in the comments, seem to work. But it would be lovely to be able to operate this way within the devtools workflow.
