Hm this doesn't actually fix the uv thing from python/typing_extensions#348 that I want it to fix, but seems fine to do anyway |

Tests fail because they are trying to build a wheel with Python 3.6, which unfortunately might cause some problems internally. I can instead make a new release with Python 3.12 wheels which should help resolve some of your problems. |

We could add Requires-Python though, I don't care if the 3.6 stragglers never see a new version of qcore. |

I'll hijack this PR to bump some other things and prepare a release. |
