Description of the bug

When using the experimental pressure equalizer together with ironing, the speed drops down below 1.0 mm/s before
the actual ironing with is considerably faster.

Thank you for reporting this issue. We forget to exclude deceleration before ironing and acceleration after ironing from the pressure equalizer. So right behavior is that there isn't any slow down before ironing and any speed up after ironing.
It was fixed with 39404be in master_250, and it will be part of the next alpha.
