co2amp

co2amp is a software program designed for modeling the dynamics of ultrashort pulses in optical systems with CO₂ amplifiers. Based on comprehensive physical models, it enables users to simulate and analyze the behavior of ultrashort laser pulses as they interact with CO₂ laser amplifiers and other optical system elements, providing insights into pulse evolution during propagation within these systems.

Features

  • Simulation of Ultrashort Pulse Dynamics: Model the intricate dynamics of ultrashort pulses in CO₂ amplifier systems.
  • Pulse Amplification and Shaping: Analyze how pulses are amplified and shaped during propagation.
  • Customizable Amplifier Parameters: Adjust amplifier settings to match specific experimental setups.
  • Arbitrary Optical Configurations: Configure optical systems with customizable elements and layouts.
  • Nonlinear Refraction: Include effects of nonlinear refraction in simulations.
  • Graphical User Interface: Visualize pulse evolution and gain intuitive insights into system behavior.
