can you make this an actual dependent pr before I review? this will 100% conflict with #38. A dependent pr (B dependent on C) branches off C and only then applies new commits on top of it. Force pushing to this branch to fix the above is fine by me. |

Closing this PR because I've split the different part of it into separate PRs. Also, the courseupdate script that this PR had was the old version so I think it was just easier to make new PRs instead of trying to fix this one. |
