Fix the endless execution of
select count(*) from t
and queries with predicate '=null' (although such predicate is meaningless).Query with '=null' predicate will return 0 rows in Presto, while the number of scanned rows is the same as result of
select count(*) from t
, which is the total number of rows int
.select count(*) from t
will only touch the file footers.
