- Get the latest release from GitHub
- Extract the zipfile
- Rename the folder 'DataDigger-xxxxx' to 'DataDigger' (remove datestamp)
- Doubleclick
DataDigger.pf
DataDigger will now open without any database connected. You can drag a .db file onto the window or add your own database connections to the DataDigger.pf
file.
It might be easy to have a shortcut to DataDigger with your databases already connected. To do so, follow these steps:
- Create a shortcut to prowin32.exe / prowin.exe and use as parameters:
-basekey “INI” -p DataDigger.p.
- Set the working directory to the folder that contains the source files of DataDigger.
- Add
-pf <yourdatabase.pf>
to connect to your own databases - (optional) use
-param "My Title"
as a title for the DataDigger window
If you want to use DataDigger with your production environment, you will probably run it in ReadOnly mode
