• -c does not work for multiplatform pexes pex -c does not work for multiplatform pexes when the target dist is platform specific #537

Can we get this released sooner rather than later?
This update is becoming really important: https://github.com/pantsbuild/pex/blob/master/pex/version.py#L8

Build tooling that relies on pex is encountering more and more issues with packages that declare conditional dependencies in install_requires instead of extras_require. For example, jazzband/pathlib2#46

There are others: cryptography, importlib_resources, ...
The new release would really help.
