Hi!

When I try to use the Batch Render and Encode dialogue, i choose my blend file, set the ranges and press ok.. however, I then get a "Specified output folder foes not exist (persmission denied)" error

Just to be clear: its using the output folder of the blend file I chose right? I have tried a couple of different locations (also on different disks)..but I keep getting that error... And Im the administrator on this computer (its my own)

What can this problem be? please advise.. thanks!

Hi @Allard888,

had some time to look for potential issues. Please download Loom from here: https://github.com/p2or/blender-loom/tree/permissions using the green download button, install loom.py via Preferences and report back whether that's working, thanks (make sure to remove your version of Loom in the first place). Yes, Loom is using the regular output folder in each file (Output Properties > Output > Output Path). If you're allowed to create/save any document to that folder(s) there is no reason why it shouldn't work.

Otherwise please specify whatever version of Loom and Blender you're using as well as your OS.

Cheers,
Christian

Hi @Allard888,

make sure you remove your current version of loom (0.8.1) in the first place, then install loom.py. Added some instructions to the issue here: #21

Does this work?

Cheers,
Christian

Hi Christian,
I have installed the new loom.py that you suggested..and now it's working as it should..
So thank you !

Is this a fix that will be included in a future release? or did I do something wrong on my end?

Hi @Allard888,

glad it's working now. Was actually a feature long time ago... not sure why this isn't working on Windows anymore. Sure, coming with 0.8.2 in a few days (when I have access to a windows workstation and I have the time to test it one last time before the release). Anyway, thanks for your report, closing for now.

Cheers,
Christian
