Comments
I've gotten around this by using the library connect-mongodb-session for the time being. |

What version of Bun is running?
0.7.1
What platform is your computer?
Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.22621.0 x64 | Using WSL
What steps can reproduce the bug?
Background
A library I am using (connect-mongo) uses
require('console')
instead of the global console. Looking closer, I see that connect-mongo is trying to use "console.assert" which Bun is telling me is undefined upon running.Reproduction
note: I had to remove
"type": "module"
from package.json in order to test require()What is the expected behavior?
I believe require('console') should return a console object like it does in Node.
What do you see instead?
Node v18.17.0:
Bun v0.7.1:
Additional information
When manually adding
console.log(console_1)
and running with Bun, I get:The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
