General Updates

  • package updates to support RHEL8.4 variants. Note that changes in the distro provided hwloc required rebuilds of both OpenPBS and SLURM (#1324)
  • addition of a Rocky 8.4 recipe. The docs-ohpc rpm includes a Rocky based recipe that mimics the CentOS Warewulf variant but uses an alternative "rocky-8" template when calling wwmkchroot

Known Issues

  • At present, a Lustre-client build is not available for a RHEL 8.4 kernel. If Lustre client functionality is desired,
    users are encouraged to stick with a RHEL 8.3 kernel until a newer Lustre version is released upstream.
