Most of these potential bugs are in calculating start/end timestamps (the existing code assumes that data will always be ordered).
I've also bumped the patch version
Note: The changes in this PR do cause the resulting outputs to be different, and I don't know how to evaluate the accuracy of the summary data. Please feel free to comment if you have any questions about the code changes (or if they are actually incorrect).
