This release is based off of Helix 25.01.1 and includes the following patches:
- Make initial editing mode more configurable (rejected)
- Write undo checkpoints while in insert mode more frequently (merged in a different form)
- Add support for moving selections above and below (rejected)
- Add rainbow tree-sitter highlights (stalled)
- Add rainbow indentation guides (depends on above)
- Add a
:trimcommand to remove trailing whitespace (waiting on changes) - Add a command history picker (waiting on review)
- Add basic modeline support (waiting on review)
- Add
unbind-default-keysoption (waiting on switch to scheme config)
Quite a few pull requests have been merged into Helix since the last release! The following patches are no longer included, as they have been superseded by upstreamed features:
- File explorer and tree helper
- Support for Unicode input
- (more i realized had been merged while in the process of rebasing)
