Objectives of project

• Create a personal portfolio/blog website that is to be used to blog, and share examples of my work.
• Gain more experience by creating a Ruby on Rails App from scratch by myself.

Deploy

To deploy with Heroku

To deploy Locally:

Clone repo to a local directory:

Clone from GitHub

$ git clone git@github.com:nomi811/portfolio_blog.git

Run rails server:

$ rails s

Open in browser:

localhost:3000

Testing

After setting up locally, in the project directory type the command:

rspec

Final remarks

I used my own books as well as tutorials and resources found on the internet.

In addition to my featured portfolio pieces, all the art and photography for the creation of this website, including the logo, were created by myself with Photoshop and Illustrator.
