trace_events: set thread name for workers #21246

names the Worker thread in the trace event log. All workers would have the same name... may want to allow differentiation somehow.

Thinking ahead from postmortem perspective, one of the thing that could happen is that you get an exception with stack trace or a crash with thread name, but unable to associate the failing context in the application. For example, problems manifesting like:

'Workerthread 17' failed with:
ReferenceError: foo is not defined

    at Script.runInThisContext (vm.js:91:20)
    at Object.runInThisContext (vm.js:298:38)
    at Object.<anonymous> ([eval]-wrapper:6:22)

    at startup (internal/bootstrap/node.js:204:9)
    at bootstrapNodeJSCore (internal/bootstrap/node.js:575:3)

neither programmer nor the deubg assistant can tell what worker this was.

Associating the thread name with its creation context may be useful.

@jasnell - sure, agree - I just mentioned it here as this is the first attempt to give a creator-defined name to a thread. What I proposed doesn't need to be addressed here, and I hope this will not prevent future enhancements - i.e., this will not cause future renaming impossible (eg:- breaking changes)?

It shouldn't. Trace events will be experimental for quite some time and the name is purely metadata. Changing the name if necessary shouldn't be a problem

Yeah, I just overlooked the windows failure on this. Think I was looking at the results for the other PR that landed at about the same time (basically looking at the wrong open tab). Now to go figure out why this failed on windows... should only take 2 hours to build on windows before I can test... sigh.
