my reaction to 0.9 is that I think the scope of NAN should be to cover the even numbered releases and the current dev release, so that excludes 0.11.1,2,3 too and I'd happily move beyond 0.11.4 if 0.11.5 comes out and has some things that break out current code. Otherwise it's going to become a minefield of branches that are impossible to maintain and test.

Agreed. There are more v8 API changes coming down the pipe that would make
keeping up with all changes in current dev almost impossible.
