This git repo is part of the open source project Archos Video Player Community Edition, a video player software for Android.

avos is the native video player core of AVP. It comes from ancient ages where PMP were the next new thing. Nowadays, it relies on Android MediaCodec and FFmpeg for demuxing and decoding.
