a simple cloudflare worker on a cron trigger that pulls PurpleAir sensor data and watches if AQI crosses a threshold, then sends a pushover message about it.
this thing is deployed to cloudflare workers, so all you pretty much need to do is configure and go:
$ cp wrangler.example.toml wrangler.toml
... fill out the stuff in wrangler.toml with your CF account details, purple air key and pushover details ...
$ wrangler publish ./build/worker.js
