Telecom customer churn analysis & prediction

Introduction:

Churn rate is the percentage of subscribers to a service that discontinue their subscription to that service in a given time period.

Customers are moving to other competitor companies due to below reasons.

  • Poor service.
  • Availability of features and content.
  • Lower cost substitutes from competitors/ better offer from competitor.
  • Negative customer service experiences
  • Some unkown reasons

Problem Statement

Using the method of Boosting, classify whether or not the customer will churn

Algorithms used:

1.Logistic regression
2.Random forest
3.AdaBoost
4.XGBoost
