Trend Arrow and Mobile Alarm fixes

My goals with the pull request are pretty big, so this may take some time... have changed so that a reduced scope can be made available sooner

• port over all fixes from my fork
• add support for trend arrows if available
• UI to enable audio alarm on mobile browsers

I'm planning to merge this tonight, let me know if you don't agree.

The only thing I'm not happy with is the ✓♪ workaround. If anyone has a simple alternative I'd be happy to do something different, but won't have much time to work on it so it could cause a big delay.

What about Unicode speakers icon. It can disappear after the user clicks to enable the audio. U+1F507 

Well, shoot, that icon disappeared right after I submitted the form. We may have to use a little icon. Maybe I can work on that today.

I'm all for it. I've been using the feature/commonize branch and I think you've done an amazing job.
