Collecting Request Parameters #42
Comments
At the present time, there's no way to set custom parameters for the Node agent for New Relic. The goal is to get the Node agent to feature parity (as much as it makes sense) with the other agents sooner rather than later, but this functionality is unlikely to land before the first official release of the agent (as the FIXMEs dotted around the relevant code will show ;). |
No problems, what I was thinking, but thought I'd ask. |
It would be really helpful for us to be able to collect referrer, user agent and request url when reporting errors. For now we'll have to rely on another provider for tracking the errors, but we'd be super happy if we can avoid that in the near future. |
Second that, please add this feature! |
updated instrumentation to require >=8.8.0 of agent, fixed files stanza in package-lock
Is there a way to enable or configure this for the Node.js agent
I found https://newrelic.com/docs/features/collecting-custom-parameters , but there are no config options in the New Relic control panel.
Before I spent too much time trying to find it in the source code I thought I'd ask to see if it's even enabled.
