I have submitted a pr on libphonenumber for now. Unless they merge it we cannot update as it is in the dependency. So waiting for them to review it. Or maybe i can use the package from my github link ? If that is okay then I am happy to work on this.

@pr-1 you could reference your pr in the pubspec for now for a prerelease, e.g. like I did with this one:

Just in case that helps sombody.
I wanted to give a try for that library but it's not compatible with null-safety yet.

Because app depends on intl_phone_number_input ^0.6.0 which depends on equatable ^1.2.5, equatable ^1.2.5 is required.
So, because app depends on equatable ^2.0.0-nullsafety.1, version solving failed.

I'll be releasing the null safety version very soon. I had to delay till some of the dependencies were fully migrated to null safety and also stable for release. Sorry for the holdup.
