When the number of messages exceeds a certain limit (it could be configurable).

As mentioned in #nheko:matrix.org it might be an option to only prune old messages from the timeline in-program but keep them in a local cache file for later reuse.
The context of that pinned message reflects feedback from other parties as well.

That's a fix to deal with long running sessions which will end
up taking more & more memory given enough time.
