- Copy .dic and .aff files to the Hunspell Dictionaries Path.
To add the spelling dictionary to Chromium web-browsers, do the following:
- Download the binary .bdic file. (https://github.com/mrakia/Hunspell-Ancient-Greek/releases)
- Click the menu button in the top right of the browser toolbar and select “Settings”. Scroll to the bottom, click “Advanced” to expand additional settings. Expand the “Language” menu and click “Add languages”. Add Modern Greek language (i.e.“Greek—Ελληνικά”). Also, you may load chrome://settings/languages directly in the web-browser by pasting it into the address bar and hitting Enter afterwards.
- Turn on “Spell check” (✓ “Use spell check for… Greek”).
- Exit Google Chrome/Chromium/Vivaldi completely.
- Then replace “el-GR-3-0.bdic” with the file from archive (Dictionaries Path: "C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\Dictionaries" or "C:\Program Files\Vivaldi\Application\Dictionaries" or "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Vivaldi\User Data").
- Start Chromium again: Ancient Greek spell-check should work now.
- Morpheus word list (provided by the Perseus Project — www.perseus.tufts.edu).
- Wikisource (Βικιθήκη).
