Esp8266/Nodemcu water level sensor

It is showing this on serial monitor "19:37:29.397 -> ��9��!���!���!��L�L" and the data it is sending everytime is 4 , doesn't matter if i put it deep in water or not .

That is your sensor problem.

You can print it's value on serial to check.

About the unreadable characters printed on serial, you should print all strings separately instead of using + operator to join strings.
