ADD ISSUE DESCRIPTION HERE

I AM NEW TO USING VSCODE BUT I CANT SEEM TO TYPE IN MY TERMINAL. I HAVE TRIED RESETTING THE TERMINAL, COSING IT AND OPENING A NEW ONE, UPDATING VSCODE, AND NOTHING SEEMS TO DO THE TRICK. I DID JUST GET A MAC LAPTOP AND THAT SEEMS TO BE THE ONLY THING THAT IS DIFFERENT. HOWEVER, I CAN STILL LOG IN ON MY CHROMEBOOK AND IT WORKS JUST FINE
