Comments
We also need to be able to disable FancyZone on individual monitors. |

Shipped with 0.27 release. https://github.com/microsoft/PowerToys/releases/tag/v0.27.0 |
Sorry, I installed 0.27 but am unable to find the feature. If I just reset the layout for the current virtual desktop, default Aero Snap is not working but I just cannot use any keyboard shortcuts like |

@enricogior: Um, actually you could do that by yourself if you prefer to handle this separately. I think you have all the information you need to reproduce this. If you don't, please let me know. But actually I think you should re-open this one, because in the issue description you wrote by yourself in the very first sentence:
Exactly that is not working as expected, so this issue is incomplete. But like I said, up to you. |
@kriegaex |
No, it was more than just "no zones", it also was about "normal Aero snap", like the OP of this issue already wrote explicitly and I quoted in bold script. But thanks anyway for creating a follow-up issue. The important thing for me is that the problem will be fixed. |
Doesn't use all these everywhere, but starts plumbing them into ViewModel's so that @niels9001 can start using more things in more places. ![image](https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/f1c7c0c4-c4b2-49a4-889f-2c2e5f595f63) I didn't actually colorize the tags, because that requires a Brush, and I don't think I'm supposed to put brushes in the viewmodels ref #73
On one of my virtual desktops I wanted no zones at all, just the normal Windows Aero snap, but I found it awkward to get to that state.
I tried going to Custom -> “Start blank” but that just ended up going back to Focus mode.
Then I tried creating my own zone layout called “NoZones” with no defined custom zones, and applied it – again it went back to Focus mode.
So finally I figured out I could set Columns to 1 and choose “Column” and get what I wanted, but I’d prefer a way to disable this for a specific virtual desktop.
