Automagic as EEGLAB extension

How to start

You could also use Automagic as an EEGLAB extension. This enables importing preprocessed files (from Automagic) into EEGLAB for further analysis

In order to do so, you only need to put the root automagic folder (which is called either automagic/ or automagic-Master/) in the plugins/ folder of the EEGLAB:

After starting EEGLAB you will see a new menu called Automagic:

From there you can either select Open Automagic... which simply starts Automagic, or select Import Automagic Results...

Import Automagic Results to EEGLAB

Once you click on Import Automagic Results... you will have a new window where you can choose the project from which you would like to import the result data. Note that similar to the standalone Automagic GUI, here you can also load a project by selecting its project_state.mat. In addition, you have to specify the location of the data folder (location of the raw data of the project).

Then the list box below shows the complete list of the preprocessed files of the corresponding project, where you can select all the files that you would like to import to EEGLAB. You can simply select all by CTRL+A (cmd+A).

Finally you click on the OK button and all those files will be added to the EEGLAB GUI and the files are available as individual data sets.
