Mender is an open source over-the-air (OTA) software updater for embedded Linux devices. Mender comprises a client running at the embedded device, as well as a server that manages deployments across many devices.
This repository contains mender-dist-packages, which is used to create distribution packages of the mender client software
Currently only supports creation of a single .deb
for arm
architecture suitable for Raspberry Pi 3.
To start using Mender, we recommend that you begin with the Getting started section in the Mender documentation.
You need to install Docker Engine to use this environment.
To build the Docker image:
./docker-build-images
And then build the Debian packages:
./docker-build-package mender-client <version>
./docker-build-package mender-connect <version>
./docker-build-package mender-configure <version>
./docker-build-package mender-gateway <version>
./docker-build-package mender-monitor <version>
The deb packages should be ready at output/
