Hi,

I want to thank you about this wonderful work. I'm using quick notes almost every days.

I've a little suggestion, mainly for faster use : adding a default action when you're leaving the note (for example, to edit another one). I'm thinking about 3 options :

  1. ask (actual behaviour)
  2. autosave : always save a note when leaving (no question) This will be my favorite setting
  3. leave : never save the note, if the user doesn't save it with the button.

What do you think ?

Hi @Larsene
It's a good idea..

Instead of asking if you want to cancel, it would be better to ask if you want to save or cancel..
and maybe add a checkbox to remember the choice.

ps.: Meanwhile, Alt + Enter saves the notes. 😉

This is disabled by default and is saved within each browser as localStorage.
Always you can cancel the edit with Esc key.

On the other hand, now also allows you save the notes with Crl+Enter key, which
is more standard.

After two years just adding a new setting "When editing notes show the save and cancel buttons to save them explicitly" which is enabled by default to maintain default behavior, but when disable it, auto save the notes. 😬
